The Role
the company is seeking experienced French Linguists and Copy Editors to support an exciting, long-term project with a leading multinational company.This is an ongoing freelance and remote position.
Project Details
Location: RemoteExpected Volume: 5000+ words per weekEmployment Type: Freelance/Independent ContractTask Type: Translation, Copy-Editing and MTPEContent Types: Marketing, UI, Product, Support, Informational and LegalCAT Tool: Client-specific CAT tool (training provided during onboarding)
Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in French with excellent command of English
- 2+ years of professional translation experience with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field or
- 5+ years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree
- Demonstrated experience translating English to French across a variety of content types, including informational, marketing, UI, product, and support content
- Experience using CAT tools
- Excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to deliver high-quality translations while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced localization environment
- Strong communication skills, responsiveness, reliability, and openness to feedback and revisions
