CNRS – Institut de Recherche sur les Archéomatériaux is seeking a postdoctoral researcher (R1) to advance the study of ancient copper alloys, focusing on chalconatronite and archaeological analogues at the IRAMAT Saclay site.
The project integrates lab work, museum collaborations, and field visits to Melle and Orléans, with production of bronze analogues under experimental archaeology protocols and rigorous quality controls using pXRF, SEM-EDS, and XRF-XRD. Fluency in English required.
