The Recruitment Company is partnering with a leading international aviation parts supplier to recruit an experienced HR Generalist to join its team in France. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of HR activities across Europe and APAC, supporting approximately 40 employees while working closely with the US-based Human Resources team and the companies global operation. The successful candidate will be a hands-on HR professional with strong knowledge of French employment law, previous exposure to UK HR practices, and the confidence to work independently within an international business.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR contact for approximately 50 employees across France, Europe and APAC.
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, employee relations and general HR enquiries.
- Provide guidance on French employment law, compliance and HR best practices.
- Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and other HR documentation.
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management and offboarding.
- Advise managers on employee relations, absence management and disciplinary procedures.
- Collaborate with US-based HR leadership to implement and maintain consistent HR policies.
- Support international HR initiatives, particularly relating to UK employment practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within an international organisation.
Required Skills
- Fluent in both French and English (essential).
- Strong knowledge of French employment and labour law (essential).
- Previous exposure to UK HR practices and employment legislation (required).
- Experience preparing employment contracts and managing employee relations.
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing HR responsibilities across multiple locations.
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proactive, adaptable and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
