At SumUp, we help everyday merchants grow their businesses with simple, accessible, high-performance payment and management solutions. As we grow in France, we are looking for a field sales representative in Paris, starting in January 2027. This is a 100% field-based role: you meet merchants in your area, identify their needs, present our solutions and support them through to signing.
Задачи
- Directly prospect merchants in your area: restaurant owners, craftspeople, self-employed professionals and local businesses
- Understand their needs and present the SumUp solutions best suited to them
- Deliver clear and convincing demonstrations of our products
- Negotiate and close sales directly in the field
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from first contact through to signing
- Develop your area sustainably through regular, structured prospecting
- Track your results and adjust your approach to meet and exceed your targets
Требования
- You have hands-on experience in cold prospecting, ideally in the field
- You are comfortable approaching prospects who do not yet know SumUp and sparking their interest
- You enjoy field sales, direct prospecting and human interaction
- You can quickly build a relationship of trust
- You have strong verbal communication skills, energy and persuasive ability
- You can respond to objections and stay motivated in a demanding environment
- You are autonomous, organised, persistent and results-oriented
- You enjoy ambitious targets and want to have a direct impact on your compensation
- You speak fluent French and have an English level that allows you to take part in internal discussions
- Previous experience in cold prospecting is essential to succeed in this role
Условия
- €30,000 gross annual fixed salary
- €27,600 gross annual target variable compensation, at 100% of targets
- Target annual gross compensation package of €57,600
- Uncapped variable compensation: the highest-performing sales representatives can earn more than €100,000 in total annual gross compensation
