- About this role
- ABOUT on X
We’re a team of builders, adventurers, and risk takers using technology to help people confidently explore the outdoors.
Driven by our mission to awaken the adventurer inside everyone, we build products that optimize every outdoor experience and inspire confidence to get out and go further.
We’re a high-growth tech company.
The pace is fast, the work takes grit, and ambiguity is part of the job.
As the world changes around us, we adapt - continuously evolving how we build, prioritize, and deliver.
Our business moves quickly, and there’s real opportunity to shape what we build next.
Each of our verticals - Hunt, Offroad, Backcountry, and Fish - is at a different stage of maturity, which means the challenges you encounter and the impact you have will vary depending on where you sit and what the business needs most.
We operate with an experimentation mindset, continually iterating and improving how we solve problems.
We expect our people to use the latest tooling, including AI, thoughtfully and responsibly, pairing human judgment with technology to increase quality, speed, and impact.
Our impact comes to life through the products we build, in the stories of our customers, and in our growing commitment to land stewardship and recreational access.
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
As on X continues to grow, we’re evolving how we plan, make decisions, allocate resources, and work together across the business.
Making these changes successful requires more than designing better processes and operating models.
It requires turning those ideas into practical, sustainable ways of working that teams can adopt.
on X is seeking a
Transformation Manager to support the delivery and adoption of operating model initiatives across the organization.
This is a hands‑on individual contributor role focused on translating transformation priorities into actionable plans, coordinating implementation, and helping teams successfully adopt new ways of working.
You’ll own multiple cross‑functional initiatives and workstreams from planning through implementation and transition to ongoing business ownership.
You’ll manage timelines and dependencies, coordinate cross‑functional partners, identify and address delivery challenges, and execute organizational change management activities that help improvements take hold.
This role reports to the Director of Enterprise Digital Transformation.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Transformation is a growing function within on X’s People & Culture organization, focused on making it easier for teams to work effectively as on X grows.
We work across the company to improve how teams operate, make decisions, and get work done—so on X can move faster, focus on what matters most, and make better use of its people, resources, and technology.
Our work sits at the intersection of business operations, technology, and organizational change.
We partner with leaders across on X to rethink how work gets done, remove barriers that slow teams down, and introduce better ways of working that can grow with the business.
That includes helping on X rethink how work gets done with AI, partnering with our AI and engineering teams so new tools change how teams actually work, not just what they use.
As an early member of this function, you’ll have the opportunity to make an impact across on X while helping establish how we deliver change.
You’ll turn ambitious ideas into improvements that people experience in their everyday work—and help build the practices that make those improvements last.
