Job Responsibilities
- As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to the infrastructure powering Quandela’s cloud and software platforms
- Working closely with our software and infrastructure teams, you will design, deploy and operate our infrastructure across multiple cloud environments, with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code, automation, reliability and scalability
- You will contribute both to day‑to‑day operations and to the continuous evolution of our cloud architecture and DevOps practices
- Design, deploy and maintain robust, scalable and secure infrastructure across multiple cloud environments
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code, primarily using Terraform
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines supporting our applications and services
- Deploy and operate containerized workloads using Docker/Podman and Kubernetes
- Automate infrastructure configuration and operational tasks using tools such as Ansible, Python and Bash
- Monitor infrastructure and applications to ensure availability, reliability and performance
- Implement networking and security best practices across cloud environments
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and application issues in collaboration with development teams
- Improve observability, automation and operational processes
- Optimize infrastructure usage and cloud resources
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the continuous improvement of our cloud platform
Key Skills and Experience
- CI/CD environments, ideally GitLab CI/CD
- Networking and security principles in cloud environments
- You bring experience with:
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Configuration management tools such as Ansible
- Containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Podman and Kubernetes
- Experience with OpenStack would be a plus
- You are comfortable working in English and enjoy collaborating with international and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitoring, troubleshooting and operating production infrastructure
- You have hands‑on experience as a Cloud, DevOps, Platform or Infrastructure Engineer, with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and automation
- You are comfortable managing infrastructure through code and working across cloud, containers, networking and software deployment
- Linux environments and system administration
- Cloud infrastructure and cloud providers
- Scripting and automation with Python and/or Bash
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Previous professional experience, ideally 3+ years of experience in Cloud, DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE or a related infrastructure role
