Staff Product Manager, Agentic & AI Platform
This is a senior product role that owns the shared AI platform behind every Photoroom product, plus the agentic layer on top of it. The job is deciding what the platform builds, weighing requests from many internal teams, and saying no with clear reasons. A strong candidate has about ten years in product, has built tools for engineers, and has shipped model-backed features that run unattended at large scale.

AI is the core of the product here, so the work centers on turning new model abilities into reusable building blocks, with checks for quality, cost and safety. Day to day, AI tools handle prototyping, testing and routine tasks, which frees time for strategy. Judgment about priorities, taste in how the platform feels to developers, and honest trade-offs with other teams stay human.
How it builds AI experience
Someone in this role would gain hands-on experience with an AI gateway, evaluation of generated images, cost tracking per successful result, and multi-step agents that generate, check and publish product visuals. To build this experience beforehand, a candidate could prototype a small agent workflow with checks and retries, and track what each successful output costs.
