About the Role
Our client, a forward-thinking educational institution in Mexico City , is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Instructor de Tecnología Educativa to inspire and guide students. This role focuses on equipping learners with the essential digital tools and competencies needed to succeed in today's technologically advanced world. You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging curriculum, facilitating hands-on learning experiences, and fostering a supportive and innovative learning environment. The ideal candidate has a passion for education, a strong understanding of various educational technologies, and excellent communication skills. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within Mexico , contributing to the advancement of digital learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and instructional materials on educational technology topics.
- Facilitate interactive workshops and online classes for students of various age groups and backgrounds.
- Utilize a range of digital tools and platforms to create dynamic and effective learning experiences.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback and support.
- Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in educational technology and digital learning methodologies.
- Collaborate with curriculum developers and other instructors to enhance course content.
- Provide technical support and guidance to students using learning platforms and software.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of teaching strategies and make adjustments as needed.
- Promote digital literacy and responsible technology use among students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in teaching, training, or facilitating educational programs, preferably with a focus on technology.
- Strong knowledge of educational software, learning management systems (LMS), and digital collaboration tools.
- Excellent understanding of pedagogical principles and instructional design.
- Proficiency in utilizing online teaching platforms and virtual classroom environments.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Passion for technology and its application in education.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote setting.
- Fluency in Spanish is required; English proficiency is a plus.
