Responsibilities
- Oversee financial management for the channel business in France and the UK, ensuring effective financial control and business performance monitoring.
- Manage channel budgets, sales expenses, rebates, and promotional spending to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor channel profitability, gross margins, and return on investment (ROI), identifying potential risks and improvement opportunities.
- 2. Financial Analysis and Business Planning
- Prepare and analyze regular financial reports for the French and UK channel businesses.
- Track sales performance, channel expenses, profitability, and budget utilization, providing actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Conduct financial forecasting and variance analysis, identifying deviations from budget and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with sales and channel teams to support business planning and financial decision-making.
- 3. Financial Control and Compliance
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with applicable financial policies, tax requirements, and internal control procedures in France and the UK.
- Monitor channel-related payments, rebates, and expense claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with local finance teams and external service providers on relevant financial matters.
- Coordinate with EU & HQ finance Dpt.
- 4. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with local sales, channel, and finance teams to improve financial transparency and business performance.
- Provide financial support and recommendations to business stakeholders, helping optimize channel investments and resource allocation.
- Support the implementation and improvement of financial management processes and reporting tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in financial controlling, commercial finance, sales finance, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, cost control, and profitability management.
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
- Chinese and English proficiency for daily business communication; French is a plus.
- Experience in channel sales or the consumer electronics industry is an advantage.
