You'd work directly with the CPO and the PM on features that go into the hands of professional investors. Designing interface, writing specs, sitting with financial analysts to understand what they actually need, and working with the developers who build it.
In a company this size there's no product layer between you and the work: what you spec in a given week tends to ship within a few days. This is a real product role, not a shadowing internship - you'll own small features end to end and be expected to have opinions.

Write and refine product specs for new features, from user problem to acceptance criteria

Own the quality bar on financial UX: metric naming, tooltips, in-app copy, empty states. Getting the vocabulary right matters as much as the feature itself in this market

Benchmark competitors and feed the analysis into roadmap decisions

Keep Linear clean: triage incoming customer needs, maintain project docs, follow up on cycle progress

Test features before release and catch what the specs missed

Work daily with the Tech and R&D teams: clarify specs with engineers during build, and dig into methodology questions with R&D so what ships is both usable and correct
