Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve the legacy product developed in C/C++.
- Understand the existing architecture to prepare the transition.
- Design the technical architecture for the next generation.
- Develop the new application core in embedded Java.
- Contribute to architectural and cybersecurity decisions.
- Implement modern development best practices.
- Mentor and support the skill development of a second developer.
- Become the technical lead for the product.
Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in C/C++, embedded Java, or similar software architectures.
- At least 5 years' experience in evolving a software product.
- Experience with industrial software and embedded systems.
- Proficient in C; familiarity with embedded Java or Rust.
- Application of Secure by Design principles.
- Authorized to work in France.
- Degree or training in embedded systems and electronics is a plus.
- Experience with Rust or embedded architectures on Linux is an asset.
