Lit8 develops generative AI systems for real-time image enhancement and super-resolution. In this role, you will develop, train, and optimize AI models that improve image resolution, sharpness, and visual detail while meeting demanding inference performance requirements.
We are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience building super-resolution and image restoration models, with an emphasis on visual quality, low latency, and efficient deployment.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with image super-resolution, image enhancement, or image restoration models.
- Strong experience with deep learning architectures for image processing, including CNNs, GANs, transformers, or diffusion-based models.
- Hands-on experience training, fine-tuning, evaluating, and optimizing image enhancement models.
- Experience improving inference speed, memory efficiency, and image quality for low-latency applications.
- Strong Python programming skills and proficiency with PyTorch.
- Understanding of image quality evaluation, including PSNR, SSIM, LPIPS, perceptual quality, and visual artifacts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing real-time super-resolution models for video, gaming, streaming, or interactive applications.
- Experience with denoising, deblurring, artifact removal, detail enhancement, or frame restoration.
- Experience with model optimization techniques such as quantization, pruning, distillation, mixed precision, or operator fusion.
- Experience deploying optimized models on GPUs or hardware-constrained devices.
- Familiarity with ONNX, TensorRT, DirectML, ROCm, or similar inference frameworks.
- Contributions to open-source super-resolution or image restoration projects.
