Offer Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a young researcher with a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Immunology preferred) and no more than two years of postdoctoral experience. This position, located in Paris at the Centre for Immunology and Infectious Diseases (CIMI) INSERM Unit 1135, on behalf of Sorbonne University (the largest university in France), offers a competitive salary, calculated based on your experience.
The project, generously supported by the Ligue Nationale contre le Cancer, seeks to unravel the role of regulatory T cells in pain perception during the early stages of tumor growth in murine models. Applicants must have a strong background in working with animal models, specifically mice. Proficiency in flow cytometry, PCR genotyping, and common analysis tools such as RStudio, Prism, and FlowJo is essential. Familiarity with spectral flow cytometry (Aurora/BD S8) is a requirement. The official authorization to conduct experiments with animals should either be acquired or in progress during the position.
The CIMI research center is strategically located at the heart of Paris, providing access to a dynamic and world-class scientific environment. Our facilities include one of the largest animal facilities in the country, state-of-the-art equipment for flow and imaging mass cytometry, single-cell RNA sequencing, spectral flow cytometry, spinning disk microscopy, and more. Furthermore, we have established local and national collaborations with neurobiologists, offering an exciting interdisciplinary research opportunity at the intersection of Immunology, Oncology, and Neurobiology.
