- Lead and perform static stress analysis and Fatigue Damage Tolerance (FDT) assessments to evaluate the impact of non conformities, repairs and modifications on primary and secondary aircraft structures.br
- Understand baseline/certification stress analysis performed on specific work packages.br
- Understand concession inputs such as CODs, COIs, COAs etc.br
- Conduct stress calculations for metallic, composite, and hybrid structures using both analytical and numerical methods as per Airbus certification and engineering methods.br
- Utilize Airbus specific tools such as ISAMI, GFEM, DFEM, as well as finite element software (Patran/Nastran, Hypermesh).br
- Collaborate closely with the offshore stress team, ensuring clear technical communication, timely guidance, and smooth execution of deliverables.br
- Prepare, Review and validate stress outputs such as COS, COI and etc. in line with Airbus and Airworthiness requirements.br
- Ensure adherence to Airbus SAP, PLM, and configuration control processes.br
- Drive issue resolution by interfacing with cross functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, configuration management, etc.).br
- Serve as a technical representative for onsite offshore coordination, addressing queries, clarifications, and technical escalations.brQualifications Experiencebr
- Analysis using stress methods (Static, Fatigue and Damage Tolerance) to justify structural justifications for non-conformities (Concessions).br
- Knowledge of hand calculations and FE analysis.br
- Knowledge of Airbus processes and procedures relating to design (RSDP, SIDP, AP, ABD, AIPI, AIPS, etc..).br
- Understanding of aerospace design principles and airworthiness requirements.br
- Experience of using Airbus Supply (DocMaster, Airnavx etc.).br
- Ensuring the safe operation of Airbus aircraft with respect to structural integrity.br
- Airbus Concession Signatory experiencebr
- Valid Airbus training certificates in AIRBUS SAP, ISAMI, VPM and PASS SSI.br
- Bi-lingual (French and English).br
- BE / BTECH/MTECH/MS or equivalent degree (Aerospace/ Mechanical Engineering)br
- 5-10 years of hands on experience in aerospace structural stress and concession analysis.br
