PROCESS ENGINEER M/F

In an environment where energy challenges revolve around performance, safety, process control and the reliability of installations, this Process Engineer M/F position offers the opportunity to contribute to projects with high technical value. You will act as a true partner to the project teams to design, optimize and secure process solutions adapted to the requirements of the energy sector.

In a co-construction and collective intelligence approach, you will bring your expert perspective to transform complex needs into robust, pragmatic and sustainable technical choices. Your role will lead you to interact with multiple stakeholders, take into account operational and regulatory constraints, and seek the best trade‐offs between performance, quality and feasibility.

This assignment is aimed at a profile that appreciates demanding technical environments, knows how to move forward with method, curiosity and a sense of responsibility, and wishes to put their expertise at the service of concrete projects, closely aligned with their clients' challenges.

  • Analyze the functional and technical requirements related to the project's installations and processes.
  • Carry out or validate process design studies: mass and energy balances, sizing, process flow diagrams, technical notes.
  • Define, optimize and secure technical choices in line with performance, safety and maintainability requirements.
  • Draft and update technical documentation: specifications, analyses, calculation notes, justification dossiers.
  • Participate in design reviews, discussions with internal teams and interactions with project stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the technical monitoring of suppliers and the validation of proposed solutions.
  • Identify critical points, propose improvement paths and support the resolution of technical deviations.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, HSE rules and the specific requirements of the energy sector.

This position requires a profile able to operate confidently in technical contexts where precision, rigor and analytical ability make the difference. We are looking for an engineer who enjoys understanding underlying phenomena, structuring their thinking and proposing solutions based on reliable data and sound reasoning. Your experience enables you to approach process issues with perspective, anticipate risks and interact effectively with experts from complementary disciplines. Beyond technical skills, your ability to work in a team, listen to customer needs and share your know‐how will be essential to move projects forward accurately and efficiently. Solid experience in process engineering, ideally in the energy sector, will be a major asset for succeeding in this role and quickly grasping the associated challenges.

  • Engineering degree or equivalent in process engineering, chemical engineering, energy engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • 5 to 10 years of professional experience in roles related to processes, engineering or technical studies.
  • Good command of process design principles: balances, sizing, optimization and reading of technical diagrams.
  • Appreciated knowledge of energy, industrial or highly regulated environments.
  • Ability to produce clear, structured technical documentation that can be used by different stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in project teams and communicating with clients, suppliers and related professions.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, autonomy and method in managing priorities.
  • Fluent professional French; technical English is a plus depending on the projects.

The salary offered for this position is between 45,000 and 50,000 gross per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
