JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of the development of our activities in French-speaking Switzerland, we are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer to join an R&D team working on aerospace projects.
In this role, you will primarily contribute to hardware design and development activities, while also taking part in verification and validation to ensure the performance, reliability, and compliance of the developed systems.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to the design and development of electronic hardware within an R&D environment.
- Participate in hardware architecture definition and technical design choices.
- Perform design analyses and support the implementation of hardware solutions.
- Contribute to hardware verification and validation activities to ensure compliance with technical requirements.
- Define and execute verification procedures, analyze test results, and support the investigation of technical issues.
- Participate in design reviews and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
YOUR PROFILE
You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Hardware Engineering, or a related field, and have at least 5–6 years of experience in a similar role.
You have a strong background in hardware design and development, ideally gained in an R&D environment, along with practical experience in hardware verification and validation.
Previous experience in the aerospace or aeronautics industry is required.
You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Fluent English is mandatory, French is a plus.
You are available to start as soon as possible and are willing to work in French-speaking Switzerland.
