Université de Strasbourg ITES invites applications for a post-doctoral researcher in DAS seismology focused on the EPICA borehole, Antarctica, funded by a USIAS Fellowship.
DASEC will deploy DAS fibre in the EPICA ice-core borehole and surface array at Concordia Station, East Antarctica, to study deep ice properties and the ice–bedrock interface. The successful candidate will plan deployment, develop analysis tools in Python, and lead fieldwork and first analyses.
