What You’ll Do as the Transportation Project Manager
You will oversee multiple IDOT phase I, II or phase III projects across various offices while managing and tracking the project backlog.
- Manage client relationships, cultivating new business connections, and collaborating with the Business Development Team to identify IDOT PTB items to pursue.
- Managing current IDOT Phase I and II engineering projects as well as County and Municipal Transportation projects.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and alignment with business objectives.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
- Licensure:Professional Engineer (PE) License in the state of Illinois or ability to obtain
- Education:A Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering is )
- Experience:10+ years of experience working on IDOT roadway and bridge design projects, and managing/mentoring civil engineering staff
- Location:Decatur, IL - Rockford, IL- Lafayette, IN - Schaumburg, IL - Hybrid schedule is available
- Software skills:Microsoft 365, MicroStation/Open Roads and Adobe (AutoCAD Civil 3D beneficial)
- Adaptability:excel at adapting to changing project requirements.
