This role involves maintaining and repairing front-end machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency and product quality within our manufacturing facility. Job Responsibilities \* Perform routine preventative maintenance on a variety of front-end production machinery, including presses, decorators, and related ancillary equipment. \* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on front-end equipment and implement effective repair solutions. \* Conduct emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules. \* Install, adjust, and calibrate new or refurbished machinery components. \* Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve recurring equipment problems. \* Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and in a timely manner. \* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. \* Maintain a clean and organized work environment. \* Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of new equipment. Job Qualifications \* Proven experience as a Front End Mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the can-making or packaging industry. \* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. \* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. \* Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment. \* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. \* Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. \* Relevant technical certifications or vocational training are highly desirable. \* Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
