Telecom Systems Architecture: development of telecommunication system architectures and block diagrams.
Telecom Specifications: preparation and writing of telecommunication technical specifications.
Material Take-Off: follow-up of MTO for telecom discipline: cables, power distribution, equipment.
System Interfaces: coordination with existing telecommunication systems.
Telecom Layouts: preparation of telecom layouts (CCTV, PAGA, etc.).
Technical Comparisons: preparation of technical comparison tables.
Vendor Correspondence: technical communication with vendors.
Vendor Document Review: comments on vendor drawings and documents.
Technical Bid Evaluation: review and assessment of supplier technical offers.
Installation Validation: participation in validation activities related to installation aspects (cabinets, quantities, etc.).
The following documentation will be made available to the Contractor:
Technical project documents (philosophies, technical specifications, lists, architectures, block diagrams)
Access to the project discipline database
Methodology
The Contractor shall comply with:
Project Quality Plan
Discipline Quality Plan
Applicable Quality Assurance procedures
Industry best practices and project rules
Mastery of telecom systems, including: PAGA, Hotline, Telephone System, CCTV, UHF TETRA, VHF Marine Radio, Fiber Optic Network, LAN, Ship-to-Shore Link, ACS, Wireless Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems.
Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas Onshore LNG telecommunication systems.
Understanding of installation and validation aspects for telecom systems.
Knowledge of international standards: ISA, IEC, ATEX.
Software proficiency: MS Office (Word/Excel/Visio), AutoCAD.
Reporting capability to the Telecom Lead.
Quality Requirements for Deliverables
All documents produced must meet the following criteria:
Content quality (appropriate level of information)
Presentation quality (graphics, readability)
Compliance with contract language (English)
